Towards your first choice university

The JW6 Advanced Pathway offers you a strong choice of A-level courses with guaranteed excellent teaching, designed to get you the results you need. 

 A robust UCAS programme is offered to all students, which resulted in 83% of our students applying to higher education in 2025. 75% of the cohort took up their offers, with 85% achieving a place at their first choice of university.

Entry requirements

Six or more Grade 5s, including specific grades in key subjects.

A-level courses

Choose 3 subjects from a range of Advanced courses. 
Options include: English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Art.

Students following the Advanced Pathway benefit from:

• Access to the brand-new Sixth Form Study Centre
• Guest speaker series
• Residential university visits
• 1-to-1 career guidance and support with your CV and UCAS form
• Extra support from partners such as Reading Scholars, The Elephant Group, Exeter University, Sutton Trust, Oxbridge Programme and more
• Enrichment sessions including British Sign Language
